1 pkg plain yellow cake mix
1 stick butter
4 lg eggs
2 cans (15oz) pumpkin. Not pie mix
1 5oz can evaporated milk
1-1/4 cups sugar
2 tsp ground cinnamon
topping
4 tbsp butter - chilled
1 cup cake mix
1 cup pecans
350 oven and lightly greased 13x9 pan
save one cup cake mix and mix remainder with butter and 1 egg. Blend. Press in bottom of pan to cover bottom and set aside.
Filling
Mix pumpkin, evap milk, 3 eggs, and cinn. Blend on low until combined. Increse speed and beat until creamy and lighter in color. Pour into pand over cake mixture covering all the crust and set aside.
Mix 1/4 cup sugar and chilled 1/2 stick butter and remaining cake mixture in a clean bowl. beat until just crumbely and sprinkle over prepared mixture.
Bake 350 70-75 min or until center of cake no longer jiggles.
