chicken meat from one cooked chicken
1/2 stick butter
1/3 cup flour
1 cup chicken broth
1 cup milk
small jar of diced red pimientos (do not drain)
small can of peas drained
small can of mushrooms drained
melt butter in a large saucepan. Stir in flour and mix well. Mix broth and milk together, then add flour mixture. Heat over med- med hi heat until it thickens up stiring constantly. Add chicken, pimientos,peas, and mushrooms once the mixture is thick.
Serve over toast or rice.
